什么是认证?
认证 is a universally acknowledged standard of institutional quality. 具体地说, HLC defines five criteria, which demonstrate institutional effectiveness. 这五个标准是:

HLC 同行评审小组s are volunteers of approximately 1,600 faculty and administrators from institutions within the 19-state North Central region. 的y are responsible for assuring that an institution is complying with the accreditation criteria as well as for helping an institution advance within the context of its own mission.

Keep informed about your campus and the accreditation effort so that you can talk knowledgeably to the HLC 同行评审小组 when they visit the campus.  访问ing team members may talk to individuals or groups informally or formally. Volunteer to be part of a group if a meeting is requested by the HLC 同行评审小组. If you have questions, please feel free to contact members from the 认证委员会, or 高等教育事务委员会 conference attendees or 保证论证工作队成员.
